Called today and got a AAA rate on a std 2 queen room at RPR of $184. (3 nights, so I guess there's a "stay more" discount in there; 2 kids with us, so four in the room.) Dates are Feb 14-17. I am surprised that the rates apparently swing from "low season" to "peak season" Feb 12...I know President's day is Feb, but not til the end of the month I thought? (Canadian girl, I always neglect to figure in that holiday.)

I believe that's a good rate. And the AAA rate is a different rate from the "Stay and Play" rate. The Loews' website shows that the "Stay and Play" rate is $197.10 per night, so the AAA rate you received is better than that.

If you check out rates for the following week (21-25 which is President's Week) you'll see that the rates are quite a bit higher. It bugs me that we made our Family Day in Canada to coincide with President's Day because you can't get a cheap rate for the weekend anywhere.

I think that sounds like a good rate. I check AAA at RPR for Nov 11-14 and it was $228 + tax which I thought seemed high for November.
