Newbie to Renting DVC Points!

Hi there

Apologies if this isn't the right place to post this . . . feel free to tell me and I will re-post elsewhere!

We are looking at booking a trip in ** and we're thinking of renting vacation club points from someone for a change. How would we go about this / is it quite straight forward to do? - we have always booked through travel agents before, so are completely clueless!

There is a rent/trade board set up that has lots of information. If you go there, you can find all the ins and outs of how it works, as well as members who have points they are willing to rent.

There are "sticky" threads at the top of the DVC Rent/Trade Board that explain how renting works (the "Read me first" thread) and the posting rules of the Rent/Trade board (the "Required Reading" threads).
