Just found this website & pls forgive the inexperience. Planning to go to WDW Feb of 05. I have 3 kids ages (2-7) doing room only. I need tips, websites, travel agent referals & car rental sugg.
We are doing the 4 day pass, considering staying at the AK or CBR or at the Doubletree Suites. But want the Queen w/bunkbed for the AK.
I think someone posted a website for purchaing the tickets but I can't find it?
Help is greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the DIS boards. It would be helpful if you could break down your questions.

If you have a transportation question post it on the Transportation board. If you have a question about tickets post it on the theme parks board.

What do you want to know about the resorts and people here would be glad to help you.

Wow! Lots of stuff to share with you...

First off, if you plan on staying onsite (which I personally think is the best way to go) you'll need to choose a resort that accomodates 5 guests in one room. None of the value resorts do and Port Orleans Riverside is the only moderate resort that does. I'm not sure if you could get away with a 5th person in some rooms since your youngest is only 2 - maybe.

My favorite website for a newbie is allearsnet.com. It is fairly easy to understand and does a good job explaining everything clearly. Definitely check it out!

I've always used dreamsunlimitedtravel.com to book my stays. They specialize in Disney and their agents are very knowledgeable. They check discount codes up until you leave to always find you the best deal, and will book priority seatings (dinner reservations) for you, so you do have to. They're awesome!

As far as tickets go, you have a lot of options as to where to purchase them from. allearsnet.com lists them all, and shows you how to get them discounted (if you are military, have aaa, etc).

safetymom was right in saying that if you make a few more specific posts you'll get tons of answers. So do a little searching on allearsnet.com and come back and ask away!!

Welcome to the DIS!

As far as resorts go, if AKL fits into the budget, then I say go for it. It is a wonderful resort. ::yes:: I believe that a party of 5 can stay there if the child under 3 is in a crib. They do have deluxe rooms that I believe hold 5 as well. Bunkbed rooms can be requested, but not guaranteed (though Disney does try really hard to grant requests when possible).

Some good websites to check out in addition to this one (www.wdwinfo.com) are www.allearsnet.com and www.mousesavers.com. I also recommend purchasing the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World 2005 by Bob Sehlinger. It's a great guidebook with tons of tips and time saving info.

I have also used Dreams Unlimited Travel to book several trips to Disney World, and I have been more than pleased every time. I highly recommend them. :)
