We are going to WDW next week and want to do US/IOA in one day if possible.

It's me, prego..no rides
My husband and 7 yr old son...50 inches

Won't be doing the big coasters.

What is a good plan of attack to try and do both parks. I will obviously be doing a lot of resting and meeting up with them.

What park should we start at and do you think it's worth it to try and do both parks and pay for 2?

Also, is it easier to park at a resort and take the boat over or walk rather than do the whole parking garage thing?

Thanks!

The resorts you need a key to park at so its best to park in garage unless your planning on staying onsite.

I think you should start with IOA...Not doing big coasters you can probably get most done within an hour or 2 of park opening. Go over to Universal and do all you want to do there.

Next week I dont think will be too busy and tbh you could probably get both parks done so I would say do them both.

Thanks. Do you know how far of a walk it is from the parking lot/garage? Would my husband be able to drop me off then go park?

I do not believe you can drop someone off because you have to walk through citywalk to get there. It actually depends where they park you how far it is. When I get there early I think they usually park me furthest away. Its maybe 5-10 min walk and they have a moving walkway part of the way so that helps also.

You could either have him drop you off at the main hub of the parking structure and then go park in the garage or if you wanted to spend the money, you could do valet. It's a very short walk from valet to CityWalk but it does expensive.

I forgot about the moving walkway. I remember reading about that.

Valet sounds perfect. I am trying to avoid having to walk further than I have too because I am going to be exhausted early.

Thanks again for the helpful info.

Do you guys know if I would be able to go on the simpsons ride?

I am not positive but I do not think you can. There is quite a bit of moving on that ride and spinning.
