I've been reading posts for a while and I have seen ones that just say "bump". Could someone tell me what "bump" means/stand for? Thanks.

Welcome!

Every time a response is posted to a thread that thread moves to the top the list. So I am actually "bumping" this thread to the top of the Mousecellaneous board right now! It will be at the top until someone posts a response to another thread and so on and so on.

Thank you so much. It was driving me CRAZY trying to figure it out. I never would have guessed.:worship:

If you're seeing it on the rent/trade board, it's because users are 'required' to keep their threads active at least once every 7 days. If not, software automatically closes it as an abandoned thread.

This is on the rent/trade board only and not on any other boards. So on the rent/trade board you will see a lot of threads where the OP has 'bumped' the thread in order to comply with that board's posting requirements.

Meaning they don't have anything to say but want to be on top of the post to keep it from closing or getting so far back no one will see it.
