Hello Everyone

This is my first post and looking forward to planning a disney trip in nov. We will be flying in to Orlando, renting a car and staying off property. My question is whats the best way to tour the different resort hotels. Can you drive into a self parking lot and walk through the different areas or is this not allowed if you are not staying at the resort . Also if you not staying can you take the buses to different hotels. We would just enjoy looking around at the Wilderness Lodge or the Pop Hotel and get some pics, just dont know if Disney allows this.
Thank you

WELCOME TO THE DISBOARDS!

We have stayed off site in the past and toured some of the resorts, but only the Deluxe Resorts so far. We just drove to the resort and told the guard at the gate that we wanted to look around. He gave us a 3 hour parking pass, so that we could park in the lot and walk around. I can't say for sure you would get the same thing at the Pop, but I don't see why not!

Have a great trip!

We usually stay offsite but enjoy visiting the resorts (heck, some of the best restaurants are in the resorts.:goodvibes ...). Grand Floridian, Contemporary and Poly can be accessed via monorail. Boardwalk via Epcot WS...you can also self drive to any of the resorts and you will be allowed to park just to look around.

Have fun planning your vacation and :welcome:
