Another question, the incentive points (dev points) which hopefully can be used at any DW resort, they can only be booked 7 months from what date?
Also, my rep mentioned current year points.
For instance, if we buy sat. and get an August use year (thats what we were told) we would get 2007 points????
I don't understand that??? What would they be?

points that would have been given to you had you owned the contract at august 1, 2007. 2007 pts with an august use year month expire july 31, 2008 - or you could bank them into 2008 (i.e. use year 2008 = aug 1, 2008 to july 31, 2009) if you do so by march 31, 2008.

Totally confused by this, I apologize.
If we buy/close in Feb (now) and are given an August use year, we would need to bank the old points (2007/08) by March of this year? Wow!
Would that mean we would need to figure out what else we wanted to bank by then b/c you can only bank once????

you can only transfer once a year, but banking/borrowing transactions are not considered a "transfer."

if you don't use the 2007 pts by the end of july 2008, you would lose them, so i'm sure your guide will prompt you to bank them into the next use year - where you might use them for your dec 2008 vacation, for example.
