Newbie Needs Help

Hi All,

We had to unexpectedly cancel our November 2020 trip that has been planned for two years due to unexpected back surgery. We are deviated.

We are going to reschedule for next year and we're interested in renting DVC points for our trip. We will have 6 people. Can someone point me in the direction to do this? Can you add dining plan to the DVC rental?

There are no dining plans in 2021.

DVC reservations may be made 11 months before the arrival date. Dining plans (when/if made available again by Disney) may be added to DVC reservations (payment will need to be made when the dining plan is added to the reservation) and Magical Express reservations may also be added.

You should post your requested dates in any active rental thread on the DVC Rent/Trade Board . There are also informational threads pinned at the top of the board with a lot of information about the rental process and precautions to take to protect yourself when working with strangers on the internet.

Make sure you ignore any private messages you did not initiate. Otherwise, you could be scammed out of your money. Scammers are getting rather slick these days.

One thing to keep in mind: when you rent points, it's usually a non-refundable transaction. So, it's a much less flexible option if you need to cancel at the last minute.
