Ok, so my (and my son's) first trip to Disney is now 11 days away!! I spent last week trying to plan what park and what rest. on what days and booked my ADR's.

I don't know if I've got a good plan here, thought maybe some of you vets could give it a look and see if it's doable.

I'm packing some snack foods and portable breakfast foods (Quaker's new Breakfast Cookie is to DIE for and it's filling!) so most of our meals are dinners.

We'll be there Tues. the 25th through Mon. May 1st.

Tues: 6 pm Crystal Palace Character meal
Wed: 6 pm @ Mama Melrose (Fantasmic package res)
Thurs: 7:05 pm @ LTT Character Meal
Fri: 3pm early dinner/late lunch at Garden Grill (Char Meal)
Sat: 7:15 pm @ Sci Fi Dine In
Sun: 8:05 for break at Crystal Palace
Mon: Ohana's for Breakfast.

The first problem is I have one too many meals booked, as we're on the dining package and are staying 6 nights (but are getting there early the first day and leaving late the last day), so I'd like to drop one of these meals. Don't know which is the best and which is the not so good. My son is 5, hence the reason for all the character meals. I planned the rest. around the days that the parks have extra hours, since we're not on park hoppers so it's one a day for us, probably more than I can handle.

I'm really not a big breakfast person, should we maybe ditch the breakfast ressies? We fly out around 8pm Mon. so I don't know that our big meal should be breakfast, since we'll probably want a decent meal before we leave (will arrive back home in the wee hours of the morning).

Also, which counter service restaurants are best? If we end up using two counter service meals in one day are they decent sized meals so we're not hungry? Does the rest. at Pop Century serve a decent meal?

Ugh..so much to plan! Beach trips are so much easier, but I'm guessing no where near as much fun as Disney!

Thanks for reading my novel, all advice appreciated!!

ho there you can ditch the breakfast CP ressie, since the characters are the same as dinner and breakfast (winnie the pooh and friends)
HTH! sounds yummy!! have fun on your vacay!!!

I would drop LTT. I haven't eater there personally but have heard a lot of posts that it tastes like processed food. Really you have to look at the menus at allears.net and pick food you and your family will eat. Good Luck and hope you have fun on your trip

I think you did great!! You don't say how old your son is but my 10 year old still enjoys all the places you picked.

If you have to drop one I would agree on dropping the breakfast at CP... instead drop in to the Main Street Bakery. YUMM! They have awesome cinnamon rolls, and muffins and all sorts of lovely goodies. They also have individual quiche that are very good if you don't want a sweet treat.

As for breakfast at OHanna -- this is our families favorite character meal! Pluto, Stich, Mickey and all you can eat served family style... including fresh OJ, eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon, the best Pineapple sweet bread and more. It is always the first stop on our list.

Have a wonderful vacation!!

You have some of my favorites!!! You did great and your son will love it.

I agree, I would probably drop one of the CP meals since the characters are the same.

Also, Garden Grill and LTT have similar food and characters. So one of those might be an option too.

I think your son will really like Sci Fi! It is fun! He will also probably get a kick out of Stitch at the 'Ohanas breakfast.

i would drop the dinner at crystal palace because your res for breakfast is before park opening and you could get some great pics on main street of the castle with no one else around. also we hated sci fi when we went so i would suggest getting rid of that one.
