Ok, so my (and my son's) first trip to Disney is now 11 days away!! I spent last week trying to plan what park and what rest. on what days and booked my ADR's.
I don't know if I've got a good plan here, thought maybe some of you vets could give it a look and see if it's doable.
I'm packing some snack foods and portable breakfast foods (Quaker's new Breakfast Cookie is to DIE for and it's filling!) so most of our meals are dinners.
We'll be there Tues. the 25th through Mon. May 1st.
Tues: 6 pm Crystal Palace Character meal
Wed: 6 pm @ Mama Melrose (Fantasmic package res)
Thurs: 7:05 pm @ LTT Character Meal
Fri: 3pm early dinner/late lunch at Garden Grill (Char Meal)
Sat: 7:15 pm @ Sci Fi Dine In
Sun: 8:05 for break at Crystal Palace
Mon: Ohana's for Breakfast.
The first problem is I have one too many meals booked, as we're on the dining package and are staying 6 nights (but are getting there early the first day and leaving late the last day), so I'd like to drop one of these meals. Don't know which is the best and which is the not so good. My son is 5, hence the reason for all the character meals. I planned the rest. around the days that the parks have extra hours, since we're not on park hoppers so it's one a day for us, probably more than I can handle.
I'm really not a big breakfast person, should we maybe ditch the breakfast ressies? We fly out around 8pm Mon. so I don't know that our big meal should be breakfast, since we'll probably want a decent meal before we leave (will arrive back home in the wee hours of the morning).
Also, which counter service restaurants are best? If we end up using two counter service meals in one day are they decent sized meals so we're not hungry? Does the rest. at Pop Century serve a decent meal?
Ugh..so much to plan! Beach trips are so much easier, but I'm guessing no where near as much fun as Disney!
Thanks for reading my novel, all advice appreciated!!
