Newbie...morbidly obese

Welcome to WISH and congratulations on your success for the first 2 days on your program. It sounds like you've found a great place to work with. This board can also be a great place for support and encouragement from what I've seen. You've got a long road ahead of you but you can do it!
 
Today's eats"
B- 1 whole wheat bagel(plain)
1 8 oz.glass apple juice
1/2 cp blackberries

L-
1 turkey sandwich w/ 2 slices lettuce and tomato and 2 tablespoons fat free/cholesterol free/reduced calorie miracle whip on whole wheat bread
6 carrot sticks
8 oz glass grape juice

D- 1 baked salmon filet
1/2 cup spinach
1/2 cup brown rice
8 oz decaffinated unsweet tea

Dessert/snack-
1 apple,4 celery sticks,2 bottles water

Exersise-same as the previous two days.
 
Hello - I also want to say congrats on getting a jump on this now!!!! You came here with some motivation (or you probably would not have come here) and you followed that motivation by making the appointment and now look at you so far!!!!!!

I'm going to caution you a bit though, and I'm sure possibly the nutritionist did too. You were drinking quite a bit of soda and are going to almost none. You are probably going to get some caffeine headaches - please, please, please, don't let this stop you!!!! You have started on a great trek and I'm very proud of you for that. You want to keep it going!!!!

Another good source, and you have started doing this, is join us over on the journals page. That is where you can keep writing down your food and keep us updated, and yourself, on your progress and have someplace to go to write. The BEST thing you can do for yourself in this is write everything down. I have lost 47 pounds since July and my key to really going was writing everything down. Then I could see what I was eating and why I was gaining any weight on a given week, or day.

Good news! to hear of your progress. I agree that the journals forum would be a great place to track your progress. You will amaze yourself as your journal grows how much you are capable of doing for your healthier self. Keep on keepin' on. You are so doing it!

L-1 slice veggie pizza,6 carrot sticks,8 oz water
D- 1 baked catfish fillet,1/2 cup boiled okra,1/2 cup corn,1 wheat roll,1 8oz glass tea
Dessert-6 raspberries,1 8z glass water
Exersise-5 minute warm-up,5 minutes on treadmill,5 minutes on torso track,5 minutes on stairstepper,10 minute taebo tape,5 minute cooldown.
 
Sounds like you are doing fantastic!! How are you feeling? More energy? Less hungry?

Look at you!!! 4 pounds gone!!! Aren't you tickled pink????? YOU ARE SUCH a strong and determined loser!!! Remember, it's a daily choice...if you have a bad day....don't give in or up...just GO ON!!!! You're amazing and I know you'll be down those 40 pounds in short time!
