We are thinking about skipping WDW next year and trying US/IOA. We are planning for June 2010. When is a good time to book the hotel? We will be staying at one of the 3 onsite ones.
Should I start planning now?
i always plan the next years trip to the darkside while i am on the plane returning home from the present trip........
i book early and just modify my rate when the discounts come out.
You can always book in advance at rack rate.
it takes only a phone call to have your rates adjusted to the new discount.
(AAA, APH, MIL, etc)
That's good to know!
Do you know when discounted room rates are usually announced for June? Do I just call the resort directly?
I think I'm going to buy the $99 park tickets now
So do I - I needed five tickets for December, which I purchased last week. If Universal raises prices by 5%, like Disney recently did, my cost would have been $25 greater. Not much, but that's almost the cost of a cab to Disney (which we are doing once during our week at Universal). Once you have them, they are good until you use them.
if you get the 7 day pass, it is cheaper to use universal, kroger, AAA, cosco than UT.
if you ever want to upgrade your tickets you buy from universal, it is a snap.
all information is in the system.
i have been reading not as easy to do so if you buy them at other places.
it is all a personal choice.
i paid $106.xx for the 7 day pass thru universal online.
i always use the special link in the mousesavers newsletters for the disney tickets. haven't checked out the AAA passes yet, ,might do that in the future for the next trip.
