Hello everyone... I'm new in the forums and I have a question about the resort and parking. We'll be staying at the all stars sports and we're bringing a car. We're doing direct to room check in. How does the parking situation works exactly. Do we scan our bands and go in and that starts the countdown? Do we need to talk to the guard (is there a guard)? Do we need to show IDs or reservations numbers? Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

We also use a car and have stayed at All stars sports before so I’ll try and help. It’s super easy! When you first get there, just tell the booth person you are checking in. If you have to visit the check in counter, you can park near the lobby entrance and then after you check in can move your car to closest area to your section in the bigger lot around the back. If you are going to your room directly, I would just get directed to the back parking, you can always also move your car if you find better spot after. The lot is huge. So different areas will be closer to your section. When we were in baseball our car was super close.
I’m not sure what you mean about a scanning countdown. You will either already know your room before you get there, or you won’t. If you don’t, I would just stop at lobby check in and most likely they will give you a room. Feel free to ask if they have something in an area you want if you didn’t get your request, we did and they accommodated us. (didn’t give us anything even close to what we requested ahead of time).
Once checked in and all that, if you use your car to go anywhere you will scan in each time you return and won’t need that special guard hut attention.
I believe they have lists or capable of knowing guests so never needed to be vetted here, but some resorts when you resort hop with your car to eat or check it out could require you to show an ID though having the parking paper in our window seemed to help. Don’t remember where we got that, maybe the first encounter at the hut? Not sure if they still do that since sports is just reopening.

I can't remember the last time they gave us parking pass for our car, probably before direct to room online check in started. So OP don't panic if this isn't given to you.

When you arrive at the resort, there will be two lanes at the entrance. The left lane has to stop at the guard shack. The right lane can be used by resort guests after they have entered the resort the first time. The right lane requires you to scan your Magic Band or room key to raise the gate. You'll want to use the left lane. You must check in with the guard. Your MB will not open the gate until you do. The guard will scan your band or card which will show them that you are a resort guest. They WILL ask to see ID.

The paper parking passes that you put on your dash went away several years ago - pre pandemic. You will not receive one.

Not sure what you mean by "start the countdown".
