First thing, BIG THANKS for this site!!
Quick background, my famliy had initially planned our first trip to Disney World for 12/26/06. Unfortunately my husband passed away on the 23rd and my kids and I never planned on rescheduling. Fast forward to this year, been planning my daughters sweet 16 when she decides that she would rather skip an expensive party that only lasts for a few hours and asked if we could take our family vacation to Disney instead. Quick look over Disney site, compared some prices, booked a 7 day trip at the Port Orleans Riverside resort in a royal room.
Being the OCD planner that I am I started Googling Disney vacation guides and found this site (Yay!
) I have learned SO MUCH in just a couple days! I even have all of our TS reservations made!!
My big question is if anyone has done the Presenting Your Royal Princess package from the Disney Florist? I have the reservation made at Cinderellas Royal Table on her birthday and noticed that they have a royal highness package but that seems like its for much younger kids. She has been talking about getting a tiara when we're there (my sister's nickname for her has been Princess since the day she was born). I just would like to know if its worthwhile (thank goodness for grandma and Auntie willing to help with cost!!).
I was also thinking of the Welcome to the Wonderful World of Disney package for my 14 y/o son so his "1st visit" excitement isnt overshadowed.
Thanks for any advice!
