Newbie from the Great Northwest here! My family and I are looking forward to a Christmas trip to Disney World for 2005. A question for all those searching for a quiet moment amid all the excitement: What's your favorite "Stop and Smell the Roses" moment at Disney World? For us, it was in 2003 when we stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. We really enjoyed viewing the animals with night-vision goggles. I will look forward to hearing from you all!

Too many stop and smell the roses spots to count!
How bout this my DH and I sitting at the shores of WL and watching a blue heron preen its feathers. The water and sky could not have been any bluer and nothing more peaceful amidst a place that can be chaotic.
