We are seasoned WDW Orlando veterans, but have never been to Disneyland Tokyo, so we have lots of questions. We are booked at the Toyko Disneyland Hotel, arriving on May 7 at 9:40 pm after flying in Singapore after our 3-night Disney Adventure cruise. We are staying until May 12, we have a 5 pm flight from Haneda. Three of us, me, hubby and adult son.
We are planning to go to Tokyo Disneyland on May 8, then DisneySea on May 9 and 10. Our son wants to look for Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh things, so we are thinking about doing that on May 11.
My questions:
1. Recommendations for booking dining? I know the 30-day rule, and that they open at 10 am JST, (which is 8 pm the day before in US CST) but does that apply for the entire stay, like it does at WDW? Or do I have to book each day separately? In other words, 30-days in advance for May 8, then the next day for May 9, and the following day for May 10, or can I do them all 30-days before our first day? We usually prefer sit down for dinner at least, and do not do any dining plans.
2. Recommendations for getting park tickets in advance? I usually get them for WDW, and they are uploaded into the MyDisneyExperience app. Does it work that way for Tokyo? Will our Magic Bands (the regular free ones, not the "+") work there?
3. Does Tokyo Disneyland have Lightening Lanes? If so, what is the procedure for booking them in advance?
4. With our late arrival on May 7, what is the best way to get from Haneda airport to Toyko Disneyland Hotel?
Thanks for the help!! Much appreciated!
