Hi there,

We are from Scotland and have visited Disneyworld for many years and I wish to surprise my family by booking our first ever cruise. Please tell me what it's all about. The tips,tricks and weather etc. Never having cruised before we wish to know the do's and don'ts. I was thinking of a standard inside to start, what do you advise. The only stipulation is we can leave around the 19th Oct but the flight back is booked for the 24th.

StephenKay, I live in Florida and have been on 3 cruises so far with Disney. The first place to start is by going to the Disney Cruise Line website and order a video or DVD. It has some information that will get you started. The best way, though, is to look around this forum and observe. Of course, ask questions as needed. I have found out that there are some very knowledgeable people on the forum. Also, there are a lot of people that will ask the same questions you may have. So check around someone may have already asked the questions you want to ask.
