Hello , My name is Dana and I'm new to this DISboard! I've only been to disney once back in 05 and going back soon in Sept! Im a big disney fan but Husband not so much!
I have 3 kids, Sept will be my DD first Disney trip and hopefully not her last!

Welcome, and the trips just keep coming, we're looking forward to trip 45 this year....we just returned last month and it was granddaughter's (11 months) introduction to the mouse...she had the time of her like. I hope your husband gets the bug....back in the late 70's I was much of the same but as the children got older, more added to WDW...more time on property and longer stays, I became a convert....can't tear me away...we're empty nesters for the past 12 years and still go on a regular basis...nothing beats WDW. Enjoy your trip.

OMG I FEEL LIKE A KID AGAIN!! You should know Ive been a huge Disney fan!I am so in awe of those who gets to be a Disney character for a living! What I would give to be TINK!!! I loved loved loved loved Disney!!! And for this to be my only 2nd trip, well you (actually Mickey) better watch out!! when I see MM I'm going to kidnap him and bring him home so we can play all day long! LOL!!
Disney not only brings out the kid side in me! But I think it is just as magical for me as it is for the kids

OMG Im so overly excited I could just pass up this whole spring and summer just to get to Sept!!! Im booking stuff witnot only my kids in mind but mine as well! I want to see all the disney chacaters and give them a big hug!! I want to have breakfast with them! Crap I just want to live in the castle!! Give me tinks outfit and let me live there and call it a day!! I know this might be only my second trip, but it wont be my last! I want to go every year! Me going every year will depend on this trip with the hubster!!! If I can somehow get hubby love sick on disney then Im on easy road for more trips plan to disney!!! So here to making Hubby feel like a kid again and giving him the magical moment he didnt get as a kid!!!! Poor hubby didnt get to do big VACA cause his father owns his own business, so with that in mind my hubby didnt get to have family vaca. due to FIL focus on the biz! Now Hubby is doing the same thing! But Im here to put a foot down on that! I know there is a biz to run but he also has a family to spend time with and 1 week out of the year will not hurt him! but this is what he was taught growing up!! so I can't blame his actions when that is all he knows!

Speaking as a Dad who was converted, there is so much at WDW that can please even the most hardened, even those who aren't into Mickey. Figure out your husband's interests, ask lots of questions here, and you will find a way to get him "hooked"...
You may need a litttle to pull it off
