New York vs SL Golden Forest

Both working out similar price in April, never stayed at either hotel wondering which is the better deal?
We originally was going to book SL but all standard rooms sold out
I was thinking of booking NBC and trying to move to SL later if rooms become available but if none come up not sure I want NBC and if upgrade to NY or SL GF later might be alot more expensive
So I am now thinking of just paying more for a better room/hotel at day one
anyone any views on this?

took the plunge and booked NBC atm and will consider an upgrade at a later date as going round and round in circles atm and not sure what to do, atleast now we have a holiday booked and I can always amend it later :spin:

Is Hotel New York considered better than Sequoia? I really wasn't impressed with the theming in HNY at all?

Remember that the NPB is under refurb and might not have it's facilities open. I'd personally go Montana room over the NPB while the renovations are on - I love the Sequoia!

Its just a higher class of service really. The toilletries are slightly better and you'll probably find more couples staying there, but it is a higher grade hotel and breakfast has hot items and better quality. But the teeming at the Sequoia is more "me"
