New York return flight TIME

Hello, Hoping for some travel advice. Any suggestions on the earliest time you would catch a flight from JFK or Newark after your cruise on a SUNDAY?

We are experienced at debarking early on the Magic and would catch a cab or private transfers.

I'd say you'd be safe with any flight after 12 noon.

Will you be walking off with your baggage?

If so, I would think you would be able to make a flight after 11am. 8:30 car / taxi pick up, plus a 30 minute ride gets you to either airport between 9:30 and 10am.

If you are using Disney's airport service, I think they advise you to not book a departing flight until after 12:30pm.

I'd stick with the suggestion of after 12:30.

Frankly... I'd rather be safe than sorry. There is no rhyme or reason to NYC traffic. You could get to the airport in 10 minutes (newark) ... or get stuck somewhere (tunnel, highway, side street...) you name it, it can and does happen. There's also the possibility that you could be delayed getting in to the port...
