New Year's

He I am thinking about goin to DLP for new years leaving 27th DEC 08 until st Jan 09 for a trip this year, we were there last december but did not stay for new year we left on the 30th.I was just wondering what the New Years celebrations are like in DLP and what time the parks usually close etc Thanks

These days are the busiest of the year. On New Years Eve the park will be open until 1am.
But the DL park will be stuffed. We have been there 2003/2004 and from 10pm onwards you could not find a place to stay at Mainstreet.
The fireworks at midnight were great but we are not planing to go again during this time as it can be very cold and rainy in December and then this whole thing is not very funny.
It was horrible to see children sleeping at the floor in the Arcades just to wait for midnight. And we are not willing to afford a restaurant at New Years Eve because you have to pay between 100€ - 250€ per person for the New Years Eve menu.
And in all the fast food restaurants you have to wait at least 45 minutes to get something to eat. Not to mention the waiting lines in the attractions.

But nevertheless it was a great evening for us 2003/2004.
