Hi All!
We will be at Universal from 12-27 through 1-2. The last two years, we were at WDW during that week, so I already know it's crazy busy, etc and so on.
My question is what can I do to help ease the crowd burden. We are staying on-site at RPR, so we have Express pass. We are in a club level room, so I can avoid restaurants at breakfast. We are early risers, so getting to the parks and maximizing early entry on one or two days is not an issue. I've made my reservation at Emeril's for NYE through Opentable (yes, I was surprised it went out that far). I will make as many opentable or through the Universal food line, reservations as I can for dinner. After Emeril's we will take advantage of whatever RPR is doing for NYE to avoid traveling around. If we want to do a movie, I'll by the tickets ahead of time that week. Planning ahead is not an issue for us.
I just have to add that we have been to Universal twice before during the summer and I did like the fact that I didn't have to preplan as much as I do at WDW, but I know that would be foolish for me to consider for this week!
Anything else anyone can think of? Anything I am missing in my thought process?
