Hi All

Were going out for NYE and just wondered if anyone else from UK is heading across?

Mark :cool1:

We are flying up to Minnesota from FL for the WE to spend NYE with friends! :cool1:

All I can say to all of you heading to EPCOT on NYE ....GET THERE EARLY!!!!!!

We are planning on getting to Epcot before the park actually opens.
We have an ADR for the Coral reef restaurant for lunch.
We have LGMHs with my Dis name on them on our backpacks so if you see us come up and say hi

Been 5 times for NYE (not this year unfortunately) every one of them in Epcot, wouldn't want be anywhere else for it. Have fun.

Hi there,

Can believe it still reeling from the West Bound Transatlantic Cruise and hope too be there, thats if BMI finally get there act together. Epcot is great at the UK and France around 7 pm which should be midnight back home then what we do is "sneak" back to the Beach Club (thats where we are staying) and then go to the MK for the bells, it a scrum but generally very good.

Would you recommend Epcot on NYE with a 11 week baby, 2 year and 6 year old or would Sea World be quieter?

Barbara

Hi - I can't be much help as I haven't actually been to either (or indeed Florida at all!!) over NYE before:lmao: - But when I was planning this holiday I wanted to go to Epcot for NYE and if it had just been Steve and myself then I would have, but I have heard so much about the crowds at New Years being wall to wall and the huge queues for the rides, then I thought for my 3 and 6 year olds it wouldn't be much fun and I would worry and not enjoy it.

So we ended up booking a couple of nights at Disney's Vero Beach where they have a pool party on NYE with a few characters - sounded the best solution for the children but not necessarily going to be as good at being at Epcot for the adults!!:goodvibes

But then I am also avoiding MK over christmas week itself as well by going on the disney cruise - it was a hard decision, as I dreamt of going to the castle for christmas but I just knew I wouldn't like the crowds with the children:sad2:

I am guessing that Seaworld will be easier as it is a lot of shows - but again that is just a guess. Let us know what you decide:thumbsup2

We are going for new year - we are hoping to spend NYE in Epcot. We have a dinner reservation for Nine Dragons. I am so excited - it is the first time I will see the Christmas decorations at Disney. :)
