New year's eve

I have a new year eve (day) escape disney wedding at sunset point
I would like to have a small dessert party at epcot or a boat trip to watch the wishes firework's. my question is would this be possible to do on new year's eve? as i know the parks usually reach capacity at around lunch time. Any help would be greatly received

Thank's claire i did'nt even think about how busy disney was going to be over the xmas period when i booked my wedding. i just fell in love with the idear of getting married on new year eve i have just be reading yor pj and it seem we have the same sort of ideas. i am getting wed at sunset point on 31st dec 2009, 230pm still debateing on were to have lunch, then as a dp party is now not a option then i see if i can get the firework cruise on grand 1 . wish me luck!!!!

I would have gone for the 31st but I thought a lot of people would want that day which is why I went for the 30th instead.

I did'nt think i would get 31st when i booked (which was only last week) but i got the conformation yesterday that we got that day
i am just waiting for the wedding pack to arrive

I'm not sure they do Wishes crusies on NYE because some of the fireworks are shot off from the water that night. I'd ask your wedding planner. They'll be able to find out. It never hurts to check . It would be really cool.

Oh no i hope that not the case as i cant have the dp party so this was the only other option i had if i cant do this then i dont know what else there is to do to round off the day i cant check with my wedding planner as not received my wedding pack yet now i am panicing

Don't panic. Even if they don't do cruises that night. You could plan dinner somewhere in the MK area, and then go out to the Poly Beach and watch the fireworks.

thank's hun i know that i could do that it's just i wanted some thing special and that would make a good photo opertunity. no good hireing a photographer and he only got just the wedding to do.

could you please tell me a little more about what this is.And how do i go about booking it sorry for being a pain but i am getting very confused and i am starting to really panic that it's not going to be possible to book any where for my wedding reception on new year eve. You have a Wishes DP at Sago Cay Pointe at the GF (there is another recent thread with some photos). The fees associated with this option: $50 small party fee; $500 food & beverage minimum; $500 charge to pipe in the Wishes music during the fireworks. You can book them 6 months beforehand with your planner.

Also since it's outside the parks you can have an outside photographer if you want,

Holiday Wishes has been at 8:30pm for the past couple of years. I'd assume they'll be at the same time. (I used to go for NYE and it was great, but the crowds got to me last year)
