New Years Eve!

Which park is the park you'd reccomend for New Years Eve? My fiance and I are going and we've heard that once you choose a park on NYE, STAY in it because of how crowded it can get. We're planning on doing that but we're not sure which one would be best!

Any suggestions would help TIA!

I would suggest Epcot. We have done three of the parks on various past NYEs. MK fills to capacity first and is the most crowded, barely enough room to move. MGM wasnt that bad. But we though Epcot was the best. We arrived about 10am. They shut it down close to noon. We were staying on property and they did ask for our resort ids. IF you are staying offsite, once the parking lot fills you are out of luck.
We leisurely did the rides, if their was a line, so what we had all evening. We had dinner in one of the countries. As their NYs time rang in the intl cms would get together and celebrate, so it was NYE's several times that evening.

Agreed.

Epcot is the park for big occassions. First off, though MK is the most fantasy riddled park, the fireworks at Epcot for July 4 and NYE are much better. PLUS, from Epcot you can also watch the show at MGM easily.

The park at Epcot handles crowds wonderfully!

I spent last NYE at Dis Studios and was surprised at how (relatively) uncrowded it was! I was really prepared for the worst but did not witness abnormally large wait times. There were definately some crowd concentrations around the alcohol stations later in the evening but found the day quite manageable.
