New Years Eve Pleasure Island vs Epcot

I am planning to go to Disney for NYE with my GF. We are 28/26. Are we better off at pleasure Island or Epcot.. Pleasure Island is $95, how much is Epcot. Can u get to pleasure island at 8 pm or early like Epcot(I think)?

Are you 21 years old or older? If you're in the 21-25 bracket and like a serious 'party' atmosphere (read: lots and lots of drinking and loud music) you might like PI more than Epcot. If you would rather have all the fun with less noise and alcohol, Epcot is the better bet.

You can't discount EPCOT's party atmosphere on NYE! There are plenty of drink kiosks and they have DJs, bands, and dance floors all over the park. It is more laid back than PI, but not at all boring. The fireworks are awesome, the best, IMO, in the WDW. Either way you go, you're guaranteed not to be disappointed.

do they have alcohol at epcot at all... espec for nye


also will they have bands etc... with epcot do u need to be there in the morning or how does it work. as opposed to paying $90 and getting to pleasure island whenever u want>(8,9pm)

We're doing Epcot for NYE! There's alcohol, beer, & wine if were to choose one. We think is better to spend it there cuz we don't have to drive under the influence. The buses will take you back to your hotel, if you are staying on-site. You can get there when ever you want, but I strongly recommend you guys get there by 3 or 4pm. We've never done PI cuz we've heard a lot of stories about fights & too many drunks everywhere.

I know my reply is a few days late, but I just wanted to say that we have done NYE at PI at least 5 years and have NEVER been disappointed. I'll be there this year, too! It is a lot of fun and the fireworks are awesome!

Yes, at midnight when everyone is outside for the countdown you have to put up with more than a fair share of people who have overindulged, but most people are celebrating and happy!

I'm sorry to find out on the Boards that this is the last year of the West End Stage, however.

My friend and I are planning on Drinking around the World on NYE, what's this about drink kiosks all over? Is this just the leftover Holiday Cheer ones they have or do they set up new ones?
