Is anyone going to any? Do you go out and celebrate or stay in?

For us this year we will be staying in, Joseph will be put to bed and then we may have a drinkie or two. But we have a early start on New Years Day as we are travelling to my mums for dinner.

So what do you do?

we are going to a party at dh's cousins house,we went there last year as well and had a brilliant time:thumbsup2 my M-I-L is babysitting for us so we can have a lie-in the next day as well;)

We are off to Dublin, flying on Friday and back on New Years Eve, we hope to go to the Arlington Hotel to see New Year in - a bit of Irish dancing and guiness, we are going with two of our friends so we should have fun xx

We are rather boring I'm afraid. We'll be staying in, drinking mojitos and playing board games, trying not to fall out over the rules!

I hope everyone has a fabulous time, whatever you are doing :goodvibes

Probably to our friends who had us over for Xmas lunch for nibbles & drinks. But not gauranteed, we are not massive fans of NYE and prefer to relax so if we dont go tho Dan & Dom's house then we shall just stay in and enjoy been boring:)

We are going to see Kylie at Wembley:cloud9:

These days we tend to stay in with a take-away and a few drinkies and enjoy a quiet evening in. There's a house in the next road that usually lets off a few fireworks at midnight so we watch these from our bedroom window;) although my dogs aren't very impressed :sad2:

I'm one of the few Scots who really isn't fond of New Year. We head off to SIL's to escape the madness. Will stay up on Hogmany to see in the bells before heading off to bed :)

Not doing anything big this year. Going to go round to my brother's and spend the night with him and his wife as they are having a quiet one this year too :thumbsup2

Nothing for me this year, spending the night in, feet up, glass of bubbly, watching tv.:goodvibes

We usually have a quiet night in and finish whatever nuts and chocolates we have left :)

Always enjoy Jules Holland on NYE :)

We always have our family round to watch the new year go in. Not much of a party but meh still good. :teeth:

We just stay in and watch the television until midnight :bored:

I hide under the duvet until its over:lmao:

We are hosting a new years eve party, which I would love to cancel now. I found out I am on an early shift on new years day. I start at 7:30. I am worried people wont leave and I need my sleep for work. What have I let myself in for :sad2: . Fingers crossed it will go well. :worship:

we are not doing anything, we stay in with a bottle of champagne and some nibbles.:)

Good luck Michelle:grouphug: I'm having a party too, adults and kids so therefore my kids are entertained, should be good but goodness knows what time I'll get to bed, I can understand why you'd be worried, hope work isn't too tough for you on Monday,

We're going to a fancy dress party at a friends house. they've built a pub in their back garden and it is absolutely fantastic - literally like going to a "proper" pub. I'm dressing as a nun, DH is going as Elvis and we're off to get the childrens' costumes today.

Hi

Thanks Claire. I think I will need it. As you said the kids are entertained. I am pleased about that. I just hope I will cope the next day. LOL.

Have fun at your party!

Staying in this year with DS13. There'll be plenty of party food and champers tho'!

Whatever you're doing I hope you all have a good one... :thumbsup2
