New Years Eve & New Booking Policy

Do you think there will be much availability for New Years Eve for those wishing to book shorter vacations (3 or 4 nights) under the new booking policy?

No, but I'll be giving it a test in about a month. I'm going to try for CL-AKV for that time! Unfortunately, I'm going to try to get it STARTING Dec. 31. I'm not going to hold my breath that it will be available! I'm expecting to have to call Joy at member satisfaction. When I told her I expected that to be a problem she said I should call if it did indeed happen.....I intend to do just that too!

Maybe - depends on what you want. Concierge rooms at the AKV are a problem no matter what time of the year you visit because there are so few of them.

I think NYE will only be a problem if you want a "specialty" unit (rooms/categories that are very limited in number). Most who call when the 11 month window opens will be able to book something.

Most who have to wait for the 7 month window will have problems.
