New years eve cruise....

Going on the Disney Dream leaving the 31st. Was wondering if anyone knew what if anything there doing special on the ship for the New year...

There will be a party on the top deck and at midnight the waiters will be roaming around serving champagne in plastic flutes with the new year on them plus passing out trays of finger food. The fireworks should be on NYE and not on pirate night. Also there is a buffet after in Cabanas.

We'll be on this cruise as well. In addition to what SnowWhite2 posted, the Times Square ball drop will be on Funnelvision as part of the deck party. I am told there will also be a special menu in the MDRs, but not confirmed.

The glass they offer on deck during the party is at no charge.

You'll also get New Year's Eve hats at dinner.

We sailed on the Fantasy over New Years. We had the deck party,with appetizers and champagne, fireworks and the ball dropping on the funnelvision. They left a NYE print and chocolates in our room. Special menu. On the 4-night Dream, not sure if they would have a special menu or not. I guess they could drop the Pirate night menu for a NYE one.

They still had the decorations up on our 12/28/13 cruise.
