New Years Eve at SSR

Hi!

I'm taking my first trip to SSR for new years eve and new years!

I have a couple of questions....

1) Where is the best place in WDW to spend new years eve?
2) Is there anything special going on in WDW for New Years Day?
3) How is the bus service to SSR? Easy to get dropped off at Epcot? How about getting back to SSR?

1) Where is the best place in WDW to spend new years eve?

I don't really think there is a bad place to be on New Years Eve in Disney. For us, we go to Magic Kingdom. We just want to be near the castle and main street. The fireworks are incredible. They fill the sky with bursts completely around you, 360 degrees.

2) Is there anything special going on in WDW for New Years Day?

I don't recall or think so. We are usually wiped out from the night before to even know if there was anything happening.

3) How is the bus service to SSR? Easy to get dropped off at Epcot? How about getting back to SSR?

Bus service on a normal daily bases is fine, not bad actually. Now on New Years Eve or any other majir holiday its nuts. Just be patient and realize that Disney is packed .


Just an FYI, New Years Eve is the busiest day of the year. The parks are packed, some of the parks will actually reach capacity and close. Also, make reservations as soon as you are able, otherwise you will only be able to eat at the counter service locations.
