New Years Eve at Disney

I went on to Disney's website to see what they have going on for New Year's Eve but it wasn't anything my boyfriend and I are really interested in. I think we will go into Disney New Year's Eve day (we are staying outside) but any suggestions for something either inside or outside of Disney? Any typical things done inside? Any beaches nearby? Any suggestions of restaurants inside or out? Thanks so much!!

I have had the same question over how to celebrate NYE - the parks will be exceptionally busy, according to other Dis members if you are not in one by 11am you stand very little chance of getting in later.

We looked at lots of options and have decided to go for the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue at the Wilderness Lodge (9.30pm show). this show gets very good reviews from Dis members and is good value at approx $40 for a show and food. As the show is 2 hours long we figured the party might just go on for an extra half-an-hour to see in the New Year. Only booked our tickets for HDD on 25/10/03 so there may still be some available.
