New Years Eve at California Adventure

I was just wondering if anyone knew what activities were going on at California Adventure on New Years Eve? We will be at Disneyland from Dec. 29th-Jan 2 and have chosen CA for that day due to the crowds and other things we want to do at Disney.

I spent my last couple of Disney New Years at DCA, since they have more festive beverage selections. Usually, they will give away hats and noisemakers and do a countdown near the waterfall. It's a lot less crowded than Disneyland.

I am spending New Year's Eve in Ca Adventure this year also. Don't they do an early celebration for the kids also? Maybe that was a few years ago. I am just hoping that if I go into the Grand Californian (where we are staying), that we will be allowed back in. Is there usually no problem with CA reaching full capacity?

Thanks for your help. I think CA will be a nice relaxed day and night compared to Disneyland.

My dad and siblings went to DCA one year on NYE while I went to Disneyland, and they told me they had a 10 minute wait for Tower of Terror multiple times. For most of that week, you had to get there first thing in the morning to grab your fastpass or else it was 2 hours if you were lucky.
