Hello everyone ....it seems my DH has finally given in and likes the idea of going to DLRP again this Dec. Unfortunatly due to his job, we can only go like last year DEc. 26th until the 31st or even with a bit of luck the 1st of Jan. If it were for me I would come back as late as possible. ( Sorry Cass !):guilty:

I was wondering how New Years' Dinners are at the DLRP hotels. From what I read form last year's catalogue, you can only have dinner where you stay...( hopefully again the NPBC-Admirals !!! , even though I would have tried the SL...but DH does not want to....( I can easily give up on THAT and make him happy !!!:rotfl: ...so are dinners fancy ? Do you have to get dressesd up ? That is something he would prefer not to...I was thinking of having an early dinner, then maybe go back to the park and fly back the next day later afternoon !

Can you book to have dinner at any of the other restaurants at the park...even an early dinner at Plaza Garden would be fine for us...we don't want anything fancy..and not too overly priced since it will be the 31st !!.

Or do they alswo have a New Years Menu ? and if they do...anybody remember the prices ( approx?)

I had even thought of doing the Tinkerbell Show this year ( if they repeat it ), but that plus the dinner on the 31st will be a bit too many €€€€.. ( That's why maybe a Plaza Garden fixed menu buffet would be the solution and would allow us to see the Tinkerbell show!

I know that Xmas is months away...but for this trip 2 of our atkts ( it's us 2and 2 DD) will come from my Alitalia miles, which I can use with Air France...so I must book ASAP !!

Any suggestions ?? Thanks as always !! ;)

OMG - look at those New Years Eve prices - yikes :confused3

I am glad you posted this question Martina because it means we will eat outside the park early in the evening and get back in time for all the festivities.

Still - where could be nice than seeing the new year in with the mouse eh :goodvibes
