New Year's Day 2019

I live in Orlando and would never dream of going to WDW on New Year's Day. We are going to be in Paris for NYE and the only day we could go to DLP is New Year's Day. Will it be as busy as MK would be? We are only going to do one park, will we be able to see everything without paying for the fastpass?

I have been over both Christmas and New Years. To be honest it was very busy all over, all the time. I can't remember exactly how long waiting times were but around an hour+ I think. I myself would never pay for the fastpass out of principle, however coming from Orlando is a lot further and it might be worth considering. I am not sure if you can buy on the day. If so it might be worth waiting until you are there to gauge crowd levels.
