i live in the bible belt. hence, we only get off on Christian holidays.

its pretty lame.

when i was living in quebec, we got all the jewish holidays off, because there were quite a few jewish people in my area. we learned alot about their culture, we got to actually celebrate channukah and sing songs & all this awesome stuff.

they don't do that much in ontario. there was school today for everyone. (except my friend's university didnt have classes, but thats the only one i heard about)
