New Year’s Week

I’m doing one day in TDL and one day at TDS in early January. I want to split my days so I can see the decorations and kimono Mickey during this crazy New Year’s week, and then go the following week when the crowds are low. Should I do TDL or TDS during the busy week?

Since you want to see Mickey in his New Year's outfit, I'd go to TDL that week because you can see the parade better than the harbor show.

Second TDL. Most of the rides in TDL park are duplicates imported from the US parks, Pooh being the most significant exception. You can appreciate the themeing, food, and entertainment of the park without every stepping into a que.
