We are getting a wii for Christmas. I am a little confused about the accessories. What do I actually NEED?

I also bought the Music game. I noticed on the box it says I need the balance board for the drums. We don't plan to buy the balance board right now. Should I return the game? or Will it be fun with out the drum part working?

Thanks for the help!:)

The Wii comes with one nunchuck and one remote (those, together, are for ONE player). If you intend to have more players, you should purchase an extra remote AND nunchuck per player, up to 4 (3 in addition to the 1 that it comes with).

Some games use Wii MotionPlus which is an extra connector that you connect to your remote, so you might want that for certain games, but you don't immediately need that.

I don't know the answer to your music question, sorry. :goodvibes

Thanks so much. I got the wii this am at Target with a $30 gift card. I would like to use the gift card for some accessory. For now I guess we will start with an extra remote and nunchuck. I am glad to know they together are for 1 player as I would have thought they would be for 2 people to play!

How fast do they go through batteries? Should I get rechargeable ones? And is there a list anywhere that shows what the little symbols are on the back of the games? Like a key? We can tell a couple but some I am not sure. Last question for now anyway. Where can I get the 3D glasses to play the Disney Toy Story game with?

Thanks again!!!
