New Wii Fit game

Nintendo is coming out with a new Wii fitness game, it looks pretty neat. It is due out the end of May, I hear the price tag is kind of high, but it does look neat. Here are some links:

i'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of this game. For one thing my mum actually is quite looking forward to it, so could be a way to get her to do some exercise. It's due out 25th April over here (UK) and priced at £69 due to the balance board that comes with it.

Bit torn about whether to pre-order as going over to disney on 27th so would only get a couple of days out of it initially. Hmm.

I'm ordering it for sure. It looks cool and has been the top selling game in Japan for WEEKS! I saw some video of a guy in the US that managed to get a copy and try it out and then post some of the video (of course all the text was in Japanese) and it just seems like it would be really enjoyable.

Of course, if you are looking for a game to get a good workout to, I highly recommend Dance Dance Revolution! I am such a proponent of that game. It's awesome!

it looks interesting. Although I think PS2 has the best game for exercises. it is the Kinetic system and it is a blast. It uses a USB camera and you play dodge ball and a few other games that really get your heart up.

Wow, I am so glad to hear this, I had originally heard it was selling for $199.99. Given that, $80 seems like a bargain.

For those with kids who aren't at the Wii age yet; I dance with the Wiggles everynight. It is a good workout (well, I'm exhausted). I'm pretty sure they have trampolines under the floor boards though. And ladies, the Wiggles men do a lot of jumping, be sure you are "strapped-in" appropriately before you start. I had to stop and get a better "holder".

I keep thinking about getting a Wii but I'm afraid it would just sit because I get bored with games pretty fast. And my daughter is a bit too young for it but does do pretty well with her Vsmile now so who knows.

That would be neat game for sure. I personally love the Mario Party games though.

I love the Wii. Wii Sports has some great training and fitness sections, I usually play them at least once a day if I can and I actually work up a sweat once I've been at it awhile (especially tennis).

If you're into the more active Wii games, I just got Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, which has track & field, swimming, rowing, gymnastics. It's a lot of swinging the remotes around to mimic the different events, and it's really fun.

I second wii sports. I find the boxing to be very aerobic. As for the Olympics, if you do enough running, you wont feel your arms for days! Wii is one of the best inventions ever!

I've got mine!!! It arrived today and i love it. Ok so it's not the most high intensity work out but such great fun and different to my normal exercise stuff so it's brilliant for me. Hope you all love yours when they arrive

I believe the release date is May 16th for the US. I too have it on hold (only did the $10 thing) but I'm in debate on whether or not we can afford it. Hopefully we will be able to get it with the stimulus.

It is being released on May 16. The price is $89.99. Best Buy will have a ton of them. If you go to you local BBY and they don't have, they can order it for from their website. Make sure you inquire about free shipping on it in the store only. They are also doing pre sales, but our store is out of those.

We went to the Nintendo store in NYC this weekend and they had 3 of them out to try out. I didn't have time to try it, but it looked fun. Seems pretty low impact.
