Website is pretty but don't really see any additional functionality. I sure hope this is just phase one and there is a lot more planned after this. Still no way to view points, reservations or make reservations truly online. They have put up a form that essentially creates an email.

I agree.

My username that I use for everything but DIS was already taken. It's a very unusual combination of letters and numbers so that was surprising.

Just remember, if you've EVER registered at a Disney website, or go.com and your usual "handle" is taken...it may BE you

Try entering your username and password, and see if it recognizes you prior to creating a complete new user name.

It seems, right now, to be a reformat of the old site, but it has potential. I was happy to see couple new dining discounts since I last checked

Honestly, I didn't see anything noteworthy. However, now that they've issued secure login's they can quickly deploy the cool account management tools we've all been asking for.

You're right... but it was too late for me, as I had already registered under a new user name.

WARNING: If you already have a disney user name, try logging into dvcmember.com with that, prior to creating a new account name (assuming you want to continue to use your existing user name).

Your all new dvcmember.com site is exclusive for Disney Vacation Club Members and will be kept up to date with content designed specifically for you! Beginning in late 2005, you can expect to see new account tools added that will help you manage your Membership online.

Sounds like it could be a while until there are account management tools on the site.

The DVC site now equal to the WDW site in its look and feel. There are a few glitches, possibly from heavy use right now? It would not accept my vacation club ID.
