New website is back

I was hoping the "Modify or Cancel a Reservation" link would actually do something other than saying to call. Unfortunately, it does not.

Except that now the RunDisney early registration link appears to lead to a "sorry" page and registration start in an hour for the Princess races :scared:

Going to have to figure out where some links are now. For example, I think 'Vacation Points' was a direct link under 'My Membership'. Now I have to dig a little deeper to get it.

Hover over 'My DVC Membership' and it's on the left side of the menu that opens.

I like the new website. I find having the drop down menu at the left makes it easier to navigate. I also like the continuity of it matching other sites like MDE.

nonfunctional! unable to access any DVC resort booking!!

Disney is just following its usual schedule for a signficant update to a site that Disney does every three years. We have just begun again the usual three year period that it will take for Disney to get the site working properly, which it will accomplish just hours before the next update in three years, when the cycle will begin again.

While the general look is fine, Booking took a great step backwards. Now it appears you must select a particular resort to check and it will only give you the results of that resort for those dates. I liked being able to check all resorts at one time and being able to see the remainder of the month so if my desired dates weren't available I could see if other close dates might be. ____________
Oops, I was looking under booking instead of resort availability (which is still working)

As far as I can tell, on-line booking & the resort availability tool work exactly the same as they did previously.

Well, there you go. I was used to looking in the list and didn't even pay attention to the callout on the left side outside of the list now.

It does still take me an extra click to see future years points - which is what I've been stalking (waiting for a resale purchase to be added to my membership).

The Dashboard shows how many points are available for your current and next UY.

No problems on Chrome either.

This "new look" is 100% Disney marketing at it's finest. Looking up resort info, they show you the ones currently for sale, want others, that's another link. Destinations, splashed all over the place in the more noticeable locations. It's obvious now more than ever that sales and marketing are put before the tools and functionality that members need and want.

I wonder if our dues are paying for the website changes?

:earsboy: Bill

It appears Android doesn't trust the issuer of the dvc member site certificate, entrust. I'm guessing Apple may not either. Quick googling indicates this may be a common problem with entrust issues certs.
