Just got the Laughing Place new items email. They have the new Transportation and Ride/Attractions kits. Plus they have a new kit...... One for the Restaurants.
Here's the link to the main scrapbooking category.

I wasn't planning on buying a lot of new stuff this year, since I got so much last year. But I have to get the new Restaurant one. I'll have to think about the other two.

I love the restaurant one too!!! How cute!

I love the restaurant one... but when I looked at the price...    I'll do without...

Yikes on the price! But it gave me a good idea. Maybe we should do a restaurant swap on the boards. I know most people are doing the parks one right now, but maybe afterwards. Or would it be too much to do two at once? Just food for thought.

I wish they made those for Disneyland - They do have a couple, wedding, princess, mickey, birthday - But that's it! I guess it is a good thing - Save more money!

I bought a few of these kits on my trip to WDW last month - restaurants, princesses, Toy Story, etc. Plus I bought a package of 40 sheets of assorted WDW theme park papers. I like what I bought!

Since price was mentioned, I just wanted to remind everyone that our price includes a markup for the shopping fee. If you're close to WDW or have a friend who can go for you, the price will be less.

Just don't want any confusion. Thanks alot for the mention.

Doobie of The LaughingPlace Store.

I think the kits are about $16 or so plus tax if you buy them yourself. But having the Laughing Place to turn to if you just gotta have them NOW is a good option. Plus the Disney World shipping fees are so HUGE if you ordered directly from them; probably the same price in the end if you ordered from L.P.

I would LOVE to see the assorted papers...any links or photos you can share? And what is included with the Toy Story kit? DS is having a Buzz bday this summer and I might wait to scrap his pics if I can pick up a cool Toy Story pack at DL in 49 days! :p

Thanks so much for this info-- dumb question- -which stores in the parks carry scrapbooking kits? I don't want to miss them!

I would also love to do the restaurant swap.. but I won't be there till December-- thanks!

The scrapbooking store in DTD carries them, plus a lot of the other stores throughout the entire park carry them too. Not sure if the other stores carry all of the kits though.

I think Laughing Place has an image of the paper pack that you can look at. I didnt see the new Toy Story pack there though.

Also, I am not endorsing Laughing Place. I use their website to keep up to date on what is available in the parks, so I can make my shopping list for my trips.

Alice28, here are some pictures of the paper packs. I was going to pick up a pack for a friend on mine in Germany and she wanted to see it before I bought it so I have pictures of it.

Mommie-----THANK YOU very much! I think I may have to buy that in October!!!

Mommie2angels, thanks for posting the photos - that is the pack I bought! I thought it was worth it dollarwise because most 12"x12" paper at my LSS is at least 50 cents a sheet. Here I got 40 sheets for $15.00 (40 sheets x 50 cents would be $20.00).

I had no idea there was a scrapbook store at Downtown Disney--thanks so much for your help! Is it a great store? Do they sell those adorable Mikey eyelets???

thanks again- jen

Jen, I bought my Disney sb supplies at OKW & POFQ resort gift shops & at the shop at the International Gateway at EPCOT. I havent' been to the DTD store yet. So you should be able to buy sb items throughout WDW.
