New Way 2 Ship Water- Amazon Prime Pantry

Just got a email from Amazon about a new program for Prime members. Its Prime Pantry Box. you can purchase 45 lbs of items and ship it for a flat rate of $5.00. As you look at items it will tell you on each item what % of the box that item fills.

For example 24 bottles of Nestle pur life water in a 16.9 oz bottle is $3.50 and fills 62.2% of the box.

You can all get pop 8 count 12oz bottle of diet pepsi is $3.00 and fills 15.2% of the box.

You can get laundry items, baby care items, breakfast items and snacks too.

I love this idea...I had been thinking about shipping a few items to the resort for my next vacay. This might work perfectly as we know that we want to have breakfast and snacks in the room. Bottled water is always a must.

Does anyone know how long these take to ship? I am assuming not the normal 2 days that comes with Prime. How far in advance would you ship it to your hotel?

I did it in early October, I had heard they run about a week, but my box was there in 3 days.

Thanks! We are staying one night before a cruise so I am trying to decide if it is worth it to order water. With only one night I don't want to miss our box!
