Hey Everyone!!

I've been a Disney fan all of my life and I just love going to Walt Disney World. I thought I would join this board to help me deal with the "cravings". Ha ha...

This winter, my family will be taking a trip down to WDW with the newest addition to our family - our daughter Kylie. She'll only be 7 months at the time though. Anyone have suggestions for going with a baby? Thanks.

I hope to hear from you all and I look forward to talking with you.

Welcome to the DIS! I don't have any suggestions, but have a great trip anyway when you go.

My son was 6 months old when we first visited WDW as a family.
Myself, DH, DD8, DD5, DS 6 mo. We are going back this July and he is now 3. As far as traveling with him. He was so good for us. We brought one of those mister spray fans and I laid that on the stroller tray. He was riding around in luxury with his own personal fan blowing on him. It was a little hard sometimes breaking the stroller down to catch and bus, but even if the bus was packed someone was always giving up the seat so I would not have to stand with the baby in arm. We also used a Neat Sheet from Target that we placed over the stroller when we went into an attraction. This acted as a sun screen and kept some of the heat away. Also helped during rain. Also easy to find your stroller when you come and out and see massive stroller parking. I also found that sometimes CM will rearrange strollers while you are in an attraction so don't get upset if it is not in the same place, it should be near by. Just make sure to give lots of water to the baby due to extreme heat for infants. We just kept our little guy well hydrated and fed. Also tried to sit near the end of the row in attractions like Hall of Presidents in MK, Ariel show at MGM, Bug's Life at AK just in case we had to make a quick exit. Good luck and enjoy. You will be making family memories you will never forget. Don't forget to take lots of pictures. I love looking at Tigger holding my son or him sitting in Mickey's lap. They are never that small again!

Hello! :wave2:
Hope you enjoy the boards as much as I am! :goodvibes

I'm jealous that you are vacationing. We have been on 5 Disney cruises and always reschedule for the following year while on board. Last May, I was pregnant and we didn't know if we'd have a good baby for travelling or a crying baby, so we didn't rebook for this year. I'm going crazy!! Our 6 month old baby is super good and would've done great on a cruise. We're kicking ourselves. Have fun on your trip and let us know how it goes.
