New Twilight Thread: Forks or La Push? Hmmmmmm....

My sister saw it last night. She said it sucked.

OMG About Jasper-I said the SAME thing to my friend coming out of the theatre after the movie Friday night- he has that beaten down sappy scared Edward Scissorhands look about him. I thought he was funny though and has a very Johnny Depp-ish appearance in his facial expressions!

:lmao: I kinda wonder if they sorta based the Jasper character off of him, lol... never know..;)
My friend said the exact same thing about Jasper xD How funny!

Lol, it is pretty funny.

I showed my mom this and she said the same thing that he does look like Edward Scissorhands! :rotfl:

Haha that Jasper thing is pretty funny. I hadn't noticed that before but when you show both of those pics he does kind of look like Edward Scissorhands.

I must share this on this thread, its too funny to even pass this up...Lmao.

I found this on another site, thought this was hilarious!!

:lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

i thought the same thing. when the cullens introduced him. i was like he look like he's gonna breakdown like edward scissorhands.

i really like jackson rathbone as jasper i thought he was perfect exactly as i pictured him lol "thats jasper the one who looks like he's in pain" in the movie it seems he and alice seemed like oppisites he was so stiff and she was so graceful and caring lol i also wonder how he managed to make the same exact face in all of th scenes he was in

I'm probably going to see it tomorrow.
I'm happy because something tells me I'll LOVE the movie as opposed the book.

I saw it Saturday. =)
It was really good I thought! I think they did a really good job making the movie like the book, I was impressed. I mean a few parts were different but I know they can't fit the whole book into the movie.

So I saw it today.
I found it much more entertaining than the books, I still hate Kristen, but then again, I hate Bella xD
But Kristen has a man voice I swear! Rob was absolutely adorable.

The special effects were downright... yuck. I think there was someone in the editing room messing around going, "Look what I can do!?OMGS HES JUMPIN"
Haha. Sparkling wasn't that intense. I mean he could've walked around like that.
And they totally messed up the "and so the lion fell in love with the lamb" but I'm blaming that on Kristen and the delivery.
I wish the movie could be just all Cullens, I definitely fell in love with them, for the first time. Bella just gets in the way xD

All in all I liked it way more than the books.

Added: Did anyone else notice that Bella wears the same grey shirt (usually under stuff) like, 6 times. My friend and I are very outfit-observant and noticed this.

I thought the acting wasn't good at all, on everyone's part. But, don't get me wrong, I still really liked the movie.

And I wish they went into more detail, especially with the Cullens. I needed more Emmett time. :lovestruc

And I didn't notice the outfits, but I wouldn't be surprised. lol

xD
My friend (who had previously seen it) were counting how many lines each Cullen got.
The Cullens were fantastic, but I agree with you on acting. Some of it was a little subpar, all around.
I don't know if it was the director, the actors, or the budget.

I found it weird that they kinda shoehorned the piano scene in there. Like they wedged it in for the heck of it. No mention, no words, just there. You would've never known that it was Bella's lullabye.

And Jacob had a dead cat on his head, clearly, and just appeared out of nowhere every time xD

The lullaby was pointless! They shouldn't have even put it in there..it didn't do anything for the movie..it ticked me off. I love that part. And it's vital to the second movie too.

One thing I did like about the movie is how they didn't sugarcoat vampires at all, like I felt the books tried to glamorize it too much.
They were animals and they were vicious, like they should be. The Cullens of course, are different but I liked the added touch of them breathing deeply "getting a whiff" when Bella walked in.
Oh, and Rob's accent popped in every so often, but that's fine, because he's fine!

Im going to go see the movie on saturday with my sister and i had one question...... how is the pace of the movie like i heard it was 2 hours but does it feel like it dragged on or anything??
