Maybe it's just me but it's really weird how Edward calls Bella "Love" and "Sweetheart" all the time now.

Stephenie has become so familiar with the characters and who they are, that she just put the names in the book.



And guys, you can't really compare Harry Potter to Twilight. The only thing similar is the sales.
I like both equally.

Harry Potters REALLY good except I thought it was hard to read.. I kept having to go over every part.. cause they used like made up words..

idk I think Twilight is more my genre so thats probably why I like it more

definitely Harry potter was my life for years I've loved it since I saw the first movie when I was like eight. Then I wanted to read all the books and everything.

Harry Potter is written much better. The language in it isn't... dumbed down? IDK, in Twilight, Stephenie writes... like a teenager. Which is the reason that the books have had such monumental sucess. Teenagers can read them and feel smart because they can read a 500 page book in two days. They don't have to reread passages because there are words they don't understand. It's an easy book to read. That doesn't make it a well-written book.

Harry Potter is artful and eloquent. It's masterfully written.

They're not really in the same class.

Don't get me wrong, I love Twilight. But you can't compare it to Harry Potter... it's just not fair. Harry Potter wins hands down.

well I don't think people ready Twilight so they can feel smart?!?! I think, like me, I like Twilight better because I like the genre.

and I agree Harry Potter is an art form!! Probably everyone thinks its better, but i was saying I like twilight better.. but not because I want to feel smart. Cause its a nice love story. I also agree. I think Twilight is well-written, but I don't think it compares to Harry Potter.

but I definatly dont think people like it better so they can feel smart.
