New TV

I have had a 46" LED Samsung for a couple of years. I love it! Prices have come way down since I purchased mine.

My husband came home with an LG brand TV a couple of weeks ago. (he got a bonus at work - the first in 2 years and said he was spending it on a new TV.)

It's fine, took me some getting used to because it's HD and it's huge. I actually got motion sick from it the first week.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I am looking at a 55" TV, probably the LCD since all the LEDs I've been reading about seem to want to hook up to a wireless internet source for firmware updates? I don't plan to have wireless or use it for gaming (too much, but do plan to use the Wii and if it has the proper hook-ups, my old Sega Genesis).

Now, onto which price I can afford...
