New trip planned

Hi Everyone

I've not really posted for a while as I can never feel as enthusiastic until I have the next WDW holiday booked. Anyway last weekend we finally booked the flights and accommodation.

We fly with MyTravel on a fly-drive (but will book the car separately as cheaper than upgrade) from Gatwick on 8 July 2007, for 14 nights.

We will need somewhere to say overnight near Gatwick airport and 15 nights parking. I have found a hotel called Gatwick Worth which will cost up £90 for this. Has anyone stayed there before, if so what is it like? Or can anyone recommend anywhere else?

We are also staying on site at WDW but have split our holiday between 3 different resorts: 5 nights at Pop Century, 7 nights at Port Orleans Riverside and 2 nights at Animal Kingdom Lodge. Does anyone who has split resorts before have any hints, tips or advice that may help us?

Nice to see you back, foxylady . I haven't stayed at Gatwick Worth - we normally stay at the Sofitel in the North Terminal. Take a look at Travellers Toolkit. We got a good deal for a hotel + 15 days parking at Heathrow in August.

You probably know that Disney will transport your luggage between resorts. My advice is to go to your new resort as soon as you check out of the previous one. You probably won't get your room, but you will get your new resort info and Keys to the World. By all accounts, the earlier you check in, the better the room allocation.

Great news! We are thinking about splitting our stay on next years trip, but we are busily argueing about which resorts we fancy!
