Don't know if this has been mentioned but you can now book a tour of Versailles from Disney.

It's run by the company who do the VEA bus.

It costs 65e for adults, 45e for kids (4-11) and it's free for kids under 4. For that you get:

Coach journey to the main gates
Priority access entry to Palace
Visitor guide to help you explore
Tour of the Palace with audio guide (11 languages).

I thought it was worth posting as I've seen people ask about trips to Versailles in the past.

Tours leave Newport Bay at 9:30am every day but Monday and arrive back at 4pm.

One of the reasons we booked a part-stay in Paris was because we wanted to go to Versailles and at the time didn't realise Disney had started doing trips! Still, this is only one of several reasons so I'm still happy with our plans.

It makes it much easier for people staying at DLP to get there now although I would say weigh up the price re the convenience as entrance is free for under 18s and EU residents under 26.

We just saw this, too. Normally we are "do it yourselfers" but all the trains needed to get there are a bit overwhelming.

If you google the trip, however, I think I found a few more sites that offer it, from Disney. Prices ranged from £56-75!!
