This thread is cracking me up! I thought my DH was the only one in LOVE with Kryssa! He is gonna be so bummed if she is no longer on. iIliked her too, except for that crazy hair cut with all those little flips. My DH says she looks like "she would be a lot of fun" whatever that means! LOL!

I actually liked Krissa a lot. I thought she was really cute and funny. The new host is boring and I feel like she trys to be like Krissa, but she isn't at all. I thought she was just blah.

I don't recall ever seeing the tip of the day spots. I liked Kryssa and I'm sure I'll like Stacey, too. I'm looking forward to seeing it.

No more Kryssa? I'm gonna miss her! I didn't find her annoying at all, she was just doing her job. And being upbeat and a little corny was what she did best! I love having that channel on in the background, it reminds me that I am not at any hotel but a Disney resort, and I am not preparing for any given day but a day in WDW. Everything looked like more fun when Kryssa was doing it.

I'm glad that they changed the top 7 around. It sounds like they chose some good rides to showcase, and not Stitch. Why is it a Top 7 and not a Top 10 anyway? 7 seems like an odd number to have... why not a top 6 or top 4?

I guess I'll see it soon enough - like in 8 days!

My DS (6 yo) was so upset that the "HAPPY GIRL" was not on the TV.

DH and I both dislike the new host. She sounds like a 12 year old.

I found my self watching the Spanish channel. I wish they would CC in english that channel. She has a nice voice - just wish I knew what the heck she was saying.....

Do they change hosts yearly????

We couldn't stand the new girl either - I didn't like anything about her, really. I didn't think she was cute, or perky, or had an attractive speaking voice. I was surprised, really, because Disney can get the best of the best usually.

I told DH they need to get Samantha Brown to do their promos =)

My heart actually sank when I read this post!!! Kryssa was a staple when at WDW!!!!

I know, but they had to get rid of her with that outdated hairdo... My 6 yo grandson liked her too and he (not me) will miss her.

Personally, I wouldn't mind if they'd have traded Krissa in for a Peter or a Bob...I think it's time for a man to host the 'Top 7.'

That new girl is soooo annoying!!!!! She was acting like she was on happy drugs. Its okay to be happy, but she was like happy/confused/crazy/hyper/over the top. When we went to see Regis & Kelly, Kelly commented that they had gotten in the night ebfore and Lola (her little girl) was mesmerized by the girl doing the countdown. I can see why she was probably like, "Where did they find this chick?" Me and my boyfriend laughed so hard when Kelly said this because we knew EXACTLY what she meant!

I have only been to WDW once so I couldn't wait to see Kryssa again, she was a part of the experience for us! Bummer that she is gone, I didn't mind her at all. We have it on the computer anyway, phew! Now I really am curious about this Zip a Dee show, it must be wonderful .

Hey Kristina....when you say you have Kryssa on your computer, did you download it somewhere or did you record it and bring it home....I'd love to be able to download that.

Kryssa will surely be missed, I get my fix every now and then through Park Hopper Radio when they play a clip of hers.

Tip For Today is also sorely missed in Mine and DW's hearts as well....we loved hearing that.

We also voted that this years planning video had a very Disney Resort channel feel to it...much more than those in years past and we thought alot of the hosts were funny especially the relaxation guy - Dave I think it was.

TOTALLY AGREE!!! WE NEED KRYSSA BACK! i actually liked kryssa. she was upbeat and cute (prettier than stacy). but this new girl is very annoying. she kinda has that "nasal-like" voice that just made me want to watch it with the sound muted. i used to enjoy watching the other show, and would watch it over and over. but this girl kinda killed that for me. when i saw it, i told my husband that they would have been better off if they just played the planning video. she says a lot of the same exact phrases that the other girl said, so i think it was scripted or something, at least part of it.

but...speaking of power rangers... there is a scene in it where she sees one of the power rangers and says, "i always loved the pink one". so i thought that it might have been her, but when i looked up the cast of the power rangers, it is not her. i didn't see her in any of the cast pictures. who did she play in power rangers?

I personally liked Kryssa and don't mind Stacy... but she has very strange ears. You'll see what I mean.

there is something about her though, i don't know if it is her ears, or her nose or her unibrow... lol not sure. she is kinda pretty, but really think that kryssa was much better.

we decided to watch the spanish channel. they didn't have kryssa on there, or this new stacey girl... it was another girl. she was good. she was pretty, bubbley, but not nasally or annoying. they should have used her for the english one too. but i guess that they had a special contract for her. it actually kinda looked like it may have been taken from a spanish planning video or something because of the way that it was done. between takes, they used the same colors and designs with the circles (that always reminded me of a target commercial) as they did in the planning video.

i miss kyrssa...
