HI all. I feel like I know Disney inside and out, but we have decided to try Universal this year, just couldn't beat the amazing deal we got. So, I am excited and nervous to try somewhere new.

First, I can't find any information on the character meal it says Universal has. How much is it? What characters are there? Is it worth the money?

The 7 day 2 park pass, can we go to each park on one day or do we just have to stay in one park on one day?

How long do you think it will take us to see Universal. Last time I went was 16 or 17 years ago. Hubby has never been and we have 11, 8 and a 1 year old too. We love to take our time, see the shows and really look at the surroundings. Do you think 4 or 5 days is good?

Thanks in advance for your help !!!

There is a breakfast in IoA at the Confisco Grill. During Grinchmas it has the Grinch, some whos from Whoville, the Cat in the Hat, and maybe Things 1 and 2. Otherwise, I believe it's Spiderman and the Cat in the Hat characters.

There is also a dinner at RPR, which sometimes has Scooby and Shaggy, but I don't think they have a set schedule as to which characters will be there. I know that sometimes they have others but I am not sure which others.

You can park hop.

Thattypically depends on when you're going and whether you're staying onsite. In general, you can do all of the rides in 2 days at most. With WWHP opening, all bets are off considering the increase in crowd size, but you should still be able to ride everything in 2 days. If you're staying onsite, you get unlimited Express passes with your hotel key, so that makes riding quick and easy. That said, we typically stay at least 3 days because we like to take our time, it is a much more relaxing place than the mouse!

The character meals is ethier breakfast at IOA and the characters are usaually spiderman,thing1 thing2 thats the ones I can remeber and adults prices are $17.95 and kids 11.95 for buffet style breakfast and all three onste hotels have character dining at 6:00 pm and 6:30 pm .
The 7 day 2 park tickets you can go to both parks as many times as you want cause its not limited to one park per day and most will say 1 day per park is fine but I always take 4 to five days because I love the themeing and find stuff I missed in past trips.
Hope this helps
