New to Universal feeling very overwhelmed

I must be missing it :( I click on the tickets and find the annual passes, then if I go to the flexpay option and choose purchase, I get a "state of residency" which won't accept anything but a Florida answer, and zip.
Maybe I'll try calling tomorrow. Too tired tonight.

Thanks for trying to help:)

If you go to the florida resident AP page, you will see a link on the right for non-resident passes.

Wait, flex pay is for anyone? I thought it was FL residents, and now I'm even more bummed that I didn't do APs for our December trip.....aughhhhh.

Sorry OP for my breakdown there LOL, you've obviously already researched this more, and more clearly, than I did for our December trip (and our upcoming September trip, for which we get to buy new tickets).

Universal's fabulous. You'll have a great time!

You can always upgrade your tickets when your at Universal. You probably won't be able to do the flex pay at that time but you can still upgrade them to an annual if you do it before your tickets expire.

That's the link to the page I used to get an AP and I live in NC. If you see the Power Pass listed, you are on the FL resident page. Only the Preferred and Premier are available for non-FL residents. I can't check to see if things are working correctly, because I already bought a pass and it asks me to sign in and shows what I bought. Sorry.

When I clicked the link this morning it took me to a different page. The Universal site did say it was updating last night, but had a "tickets" link, which was what I clicked.
I found the flexpay for non-residents without a problem:)

Thanks!

With the money I'd save on the hotel (about $70) and parking (for the 4 days we plan on spending at the parks, $15 a day = $60), and of course 2 days of express pass! an annual pass is well worth it.

TIA

Just an FYI that onsite parking is NOT included, so you won't save the extra $60 there but you also get 10% off most restaurants. I save an average of $8-10 per meal with my family. Enjoy!!

Preferred annual passes has free parking at the parks. Even if it's not for onside at the hotel, that would only be for one night. The other 3 days I will still save the parking fees. We're staying the one night mainly for 2 days of express pass use. And, have never stayed onsite there before, so we're looking forward to it, even though it's only one night:)

Parking at the resorts is by the night, so if you get there early on your check in morning, you can stay parked in the resort parking lot until the next evening if you like.

That's good to know! Thanks!
